We purchased Symphony Light and motion cot mobile for Eva even before she was born. And we are really very happy with this purchase. It is so nice to see my daughter play in her crib with the mobile characters. My husband has observed her when she plays and has told me that she specially likes the monkey in the mobile and is happy when he crosses her! She even falls to sleep sometimes watching these funny beings and i am so happy that she is learning to self sooth herself! I would recommend it to all the new parents who want to keep their newborns entertained! It also has a developmental value so go for it!

Second month activities

Eva turned two months on 29 april and now she has crossed many a milestones. She smiles at us, coos loudly and makes different noises to attract our attention. She has also started sleeping in her crib at night for longish periods of time and that has made my life a bit easier. After her nana nani left, her dadi gave her a visit too. She has had her 10th week vaccination also and now she weighs 9lb 7.6 oz (4.3 kg) which is the normal weight for a two and a half month old baby. Here are some latest pics of Eva:

Mommy got me my first frock as i turned a month old! I enjoyed being pampered by everyone in the house.

Hello baby, another colour doppler as you were not cooperating at all during the appt. with OB and we could not clearly listen to your heartbeat. As a result a few more pics… I hope you enjoy these when you grow up. You are already measuring ahead of 37 weeks and weighing 3.1 kg. Yippee!!!

Hello sweetie!

I am right now sitting on the glider and seeing you moving around in my tummy. It is a wonderful and very satisfying experience. The way my whole tummy is moving it seems like you are having a nice time in there! It is the rocking you are liking or the music you are listening to…well i can’t be happier. Just eleven days to go till you are born and i am just imagining the amount of change and freshness you are going to bring to our lives. I just shiver with happiness at the thought of it. Your nana nani will be here day after tomorrow and i am sure you will love spending time with them after you are born. I know they will love you too much. Tomorrow you are turning 36 weeks and i also have an appt with my doc. Let’s see tomorrow we are likely to finalize the date and time of your birth unless you have plans of coming on your own before that! Yesterday i was having braxton hicks contractions during the night and was a bit worried because they were occurring quite frequently. I have to discuss this with the doc. Also the swelling in my hand and feet increases in the morning and the pain in the finger joints is not going away. I hope it does so after delivery. I think of you 24×7 and dont know whether i am hyper or not but that’s your mom on the threshold of entering motherhood. I love you and i am waiting for you!
